HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 2790 OF 2012 ORDER :

When the matter is taken up for hearing, Sri G.Seena Kumar, the learned Standing Counsel for APEWIDC submits that the petitioners were paid ex-gratia amount in lieu of compassionate appointment and contends that the cause in the writ petition does not survive, as the petitioners accepted the ex-gratia paid to them. The learned counsel for the petitioners has also not disputed the same. In view of the above said submission of the learned Standing Counsel for APEWIDC, the cause in the writ petition does not survive. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed.
