This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of The Code of Criminerl Procedure (for short, 'Cr.P.C) seeking to quash the proceedings against the petitioner/accused in FIR No.378 of 2021 on the file of Rajendra Nagar Police Station, Cyberabad District, registered for the offence punishable under Section 504 of lPC. 2.

There is no representation for the petitioner when the matter is called. On 05.02.2026, it was observed that, on several occasions, the learned counsel for the petitioner had failed to appear and in order to give one more opportunity to the petitioner, the matter was

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. lt appears that the petitioner is not evincing any interest in pursuing the matter. 3.

Hence, the criminal Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution with a liberty to the petitioner to seek appropriate remedies according to law in case the cause of action survives. 4.
