THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR CRIMINAL PETITION NO.3841 of 2015 ORDER :

The petitioners, who are accused Nos.1 to 6, filed the present application under Section 438 Cr.P.C. seeking release in the event of their arrest in connection with Crime No.99 of 2015 of Rajanagaram Police Station, Rajamundry Urban, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 63 and 64 of the Copy Rights Act, 1956, Sections 103 and 104 of the Trade Marks Act, 1999 and Sections 420 and 120 read with 34 IPC.

The learned counsel for the petitioners placed on record the order passed by this Court in Crl.P.M.P.No.3437 of 2015 in Crl.P.No.3242 of 2015, wherein this Court by its order dated 24.04.2015 granted stay of all further proceedings in the above crime. Such being the position and when there is a stay of investigation, the question of granting anticipatory bail would not arise. Even if an order is passed, the police may not accept any sureties in view of the stay granted by this Court. Hence, the Criminal Petition is disposed of, giving liberty to the petitioners to make an application under Section 438 Cr.P.C. as and when the need arises. _________________________ JUSTICE C.
