HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY Writ Petition No. 17249 of 2011 ORDER :

This writ petition is filed seeking writ of mandamus declaring the action of the 2nd respondent in issuing the impugned order bearing No.175/SEC-F1/2007-40, dated 21.03.2011 declaring the petitioner as ineligible to contest any elections to be held to the 4th respondent Corporation for a period of three years from the date of issuance of the impugned order as illegal and arbitrary and consequently to set aside the same.

Heard Sri V.V.Prabhakar Rao, learned Standing Counsel for the 2nd respondent and Sri Ancha Panduranga Rao, learned Standing Counsel for the 4th respondent.

This Court, by order dated 22.06.2011 in W.P.M.P.No.20719 of 2011 suspended the impugned proceedings. Since already more than three years have been lapsed, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for consideration.

Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of in terms of the interim order dated 22.06.2011 in W.P.M.P.No.20719 of 2011. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous applications, if any pending in this Writ Petition, shall stand dismissed.
