It is the case of the Petitioner and his brother that they are the owners and Pattadars of the land in Survey No. 715, admeasuring Ac. 6.25 guntas. The said land stood in the name of their father. After his death, the land admeasuring Ac.3.12 guntas is mutated in the name of the petitioner and balance of the land admeasuring Ac.3.13 guntas is mutated in the name of the brother of the petitioner. But his brother also passed away. The families of the petitioner and his brother went to Bombay to eke out their livelihood. 2.
The petitioner submitted an application for the purpose of recording his name in order to claim the benefit of Rs.4,000/- per acre per crop, announced by the Government. During the recent survey undertaken by the Government for updating the land records, the petitioner submitted a representation on 29.01.2018, stating that the name of the respondents Nos. 3 to 5 were wrongly entered in the revenue records and sought for their deletion. The 2nd respondent took the said representation and directed the authorities to conduct enquiry and submit a report with regard to the entries made in favour of the respondent Nos.3 to 5. The petitioner submitted copies of the Pahanies in support of his case. When no further enquiry was conducted by the 2nd respondent, the present Writ Petition is filed.

This Court perused the representation of the petitioner dated 29.01.2018 and the endorsement of the 2nd respondent on the said representation.

In view of the enquiry already initiated by the 2nd respondent, the 2nd respondent is directed to complete the enquiry, by giving due notices to the respondent Nos. 3 to 5 and pass appropriate orders within four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 5.
The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
