Learned counsel for the petitioner has stated that he has no instructions from the petitioner.

Learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents has stated the petitioner has expired. Having regard to the fact that the petitioner has already attained the age of superannuation and cause in the writ petition does not survive and the subject matter has become infructuous.

Recording the above made submission, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
