Learned counsel for the petitioners is present. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Telangana would submit that on 28.12.2015, the Investigating Officer filed a report stating that the complaint was 'false' and on that ground, sought permission of the Magistrate concerned to close the crime. Learned counsel for the 2nd respondent is present and states that no Protest Petition is filed yet.

In view of the submission made by learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the cause in this criminal petition does not survive for further adjudication.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
