ORAL ORDER:

Petitioner claims to be owner of land to an extent of Ac. 4.04 guntas in Sadasivpet town, Medak district. Petitioner intends to utilize the said land as a slaughter house by maintaining hygienic conditions. An application for grant of licence to establish a slaughter house under section 272 of A.P. Municipalities Act was submitted on 20.4.2015. Alleging that no orders are passed on the said application, this writ petition is instituted.

2. Learned standing counsel for respondent municipality on instructions submits that application for establishment of slaughter house was not made in appropriate form and when petitioner approached the authorities, he was informed to produce all relevant documents which are necessary for processing the request of the petitioner.

3. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner is willing to appear before the Commissioner of respondent municipality immediately with all relevant records and as and when he appears, the municipality may be directed to consider his request and take a decision in accordance with provisions of the A.P. Municipalities Act.

4. Having regard to the above submissions, writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to appear before the third respondent Commissioner on 15.10.2015 during office hours and if petitioner appears with all relevant material in support of his claim, same shall be considered and appropriate orders as warranted by law be passed and decision to that effect be communicated to the petitioner. Subject to above direction, writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
