M/S Hanuman Binny Modem Rice Mill v. The State Of Telangana

THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.10406 OF 2019 ORDER:

The petitioner is the rice mill. The petitioner asserts that it is entitled to mill the Custom Milling Rice and hence it seeks consideration of its application dated 06.05.2019, in terms of G.O.Ms.No.21, dated 03.10.2018.

Learned Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that the petitioner is ineligible to be allotted rice under Custom Milling Rice scheme as there are cases pending against the petitioner-Mill.

Having regard to the respective submissions and as admittedly the petitioner had made an application on 06.05.2019, the respondents are directed to consider the said application on its eligibility, by disposing of the same, within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order and communicate a copy of the order to the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions pending in the Writ Petition, if any, shall stand closed.
