THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE V. RAMASUBRAMANIAN AND THE HON'BLE MS. JUSTICE J. UMA DEVI WRIT PETITION No. 30303 of 2016 ORDER: (Per VRS,J) The petitioner has come up with the above writ petition, challenging the notices issued under the Andhra Pradesh Value Added Tax Act, 2005, and also seeking a direction to release their vehicle bearing registration No.TN 28AC 5929.

Today, Mr. Shaik Jeelani Basha, learned special standing counsel for Commercial Taxes (AP), appearing for the respondents, produced a copy of the order, dated 21.09.2016, passed by the Assistant Commercial Tax Officer, releasing the vehicle in question, upon payment of tax and penalty. Therefore, leaving it open to the petitioner to work out their remedies as against the levy of tax and penalty, the Writ Petition is closed.
