HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION NO.19153 OF 2012 ORDER:

When the matter is taken up for hearing, Standing Counsel for Central Government appearing for the respondents informed the Court that the grievance of the petitioner has been resolved during pendency of this writ petition, as the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner were dropped vide proceedings dated 13.10.2012, and in the present writ petition, the petitioner is challenging the action of the respondents in initiating the disciplinary proceedings against him and in not concluding the same. Standing Counsel further submitted that in view of dropping of the disciplinary proceedings, the cause in the writ petition does not survive.

Counsel appearing for the petitioner is not present. In view of the aforesaid submissions of the Standing Counsel for Central Government, the writ petition is closed, as the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner were dropped vide proceedings dated 13.10.2012.
