Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed herein, the High Court may be pleased to issue an order or direction more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS (a) declare the action of the respondents in not permitting the petitioner to submit Dissertation of topic in MS Ophthalmology Course for the academic year 2014-2015 and also in not approving admission of the petitioner into MS Ophthalmology Course for the academic year 20142015 as arbitrary, illegal and violative of article 14 of the Constitution of the India.
(b) and direct the respondents to accept the Dissertation of topic from the petitioner in MS Ophthalmology Course for the academic year 2014-2015 and consequently permit the petitioner to pursue her MS Ophthalmology Course for the academic year 2014-2015 by duly approving her admission in MS Ophthalmology Course for the academic year 2014-2015, with all consequential benefits.
The petition coming on for hearing, upon perusing the Petition and the affidavit filed herein and upon hearing the arguments of Sri Abhinand Kumar Shavili, Advocate for the Petitioner, G.P. for Medical & Health (AP) for Respondent No.1, Sri A. Prabhakar Rao, learned Standing Counsel for Respondent No.2, Sri Dammalapati Srinivas, learned Counsel for Respondent No.3 and Sri K. Bhanu Prasad, learned Counsel for Respondent No.4, the Court made the following
