It is submitted by both the learned counsel that the petitioner expired in 2011.

This case pertains to grant of Freedom Fighters pension under Swatantrata Sainik Samman Pension Scheme. Since the petitioner is no more, the cause in this writ petition does not survive. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs.

Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed in consequence.
