Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Government Pleader for Revenue (TG) for Respondents 1, 5 & 6, Sri M.Ajay Kumar, learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.4, learned Government Pleader for Municipal Administration for respondent No.2 and Smt Pingali Lakshmi, Standing counsel for respondent No.3.

These writ petitions are filed alleging that the properties which petitioners claim as owned by them are sought to be affected for widening of existing 40 feet road to 60 feet road from Waddepally Cross road to Inner Ring Road, locally known as Regional Engineering College to Kakatiya University Campus road, without initiating the proceedings under the land Acquisition Act, and without paying compensation, as illegal. 3.
When the matters are taken up, learned Standing Counsel for GWMC fairly submits that the Municipal Corporation will follow due process as required by the Land Acquisition Act, before acquiring the private properties for public purpose. 4.
In view of the fair submission of learned Standing counsel, the Writ Petitions are disposed of, directing the Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation, to follow due procedure as required by the Land Acquisition Act, subject to verification of
