THE HON'LE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO Criminal Petition No.11904 of 2015 ORDER:

This criminal petition is filed by the petitioner - Accused No.1 under Section 438 of Criminal Procedure Code, seeking to grant anticipatory bail in Crime No.19 of 2015 on the file of Nampally Police Station, Hyderabad, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 307 read with Section 120-B IPC, read with Sections 4 and 6 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. Heard and perused the material available on record. The allegation against the petitioner is that he used to harass the de facto-complainant, who is his wife by demanding additional dowry. The earlier bail application i.e., Crl.P.No.2512 of 2015 filed by the petitioner was dismissed by this Court on 30.03.

2015 as far as the petitioner is concerned, with a direction to the petitioner to appear before the Court concerned and move an application seeking regular bail and with a further direction to the Court below to deal with the said application on merits in accordance with law, either on the same day or at the earliest. Thereafter, the petitioner approached the Apex Court by way of filing Special Leave Appeal (Crl.) No.4381 of 2015 and the Apex Court dismissed the said Appeal by order, dated 27.07.2015. Subsequently, the petitioner filed another bail application i.e., Crl.P.No.7533 of 2015 which was dismissed by this Court on 07-09-2015 observing that since this Court has already directed the petitioner to approach the Court concerned and file an application seeking regular bail, no orders need be passed in the Criminal petition.

In view of the above, this Court is not inclined grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. Miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
