Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Home (A.P.) appearing for the respondents. 2.

In the present writ petition, challenge is to the action on the part of the respondents in opening and continuing the rowdy sheet against the petitioner herein.

When the matter is taken up, a request is made by the learned counsel for the petitioner to permit the petitioner herein to submit an appropriate application before the competent authority under the Police Standing Orders and the same may be directed to be considered by the competent authority.

On the other hand, it is submitted by the learned Government Pleader that if any such application is filed, the same will be verified and appropriate action will be taken strictly in accordance with law.

Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition stands disposed of, keeping it open to the petitioner herein to file an application before the concerned authority for redressal of his grievance within a period of three (3) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and if any such application is filed by the petitioner within the time stipulated, the same be considered and appropriate orders be passed strictly in accordance with law within a period of four (4) months from the date of filing of such application. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
