This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioner/ A.2, to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.19 of 2012 on the file of Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Sullurpet, SPSR Nellore District. 2 .

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner/ A.2, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor representing the 1st respondent-State and perused the record.

Having argued the matter for some time, the learned counsel for the petitioner/ A.2 sought a direction to the Court below to dispose of the impugned Calendar Case expeditiously. 4 .

The impugned Calendar Case pertains to the year 2012. It is more than five years old. There are circular instructions of this Court to all the subordinate Courts to expedite the cases pending for more than five years. It is the right of the petitioner/ A.2 to have expeditious trial.

Having regard to the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner/ A.2, the Court below is directed to complete the trial of the impugned Calendar Case within a period of three

(03) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6 .

With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition, shall stand closed.
