THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.10508 OF 2019 ORDER:

The petitioners are the rice mills. The petitioners assert that they are entitled to mill the Custom Milling Rice and hence they seek consideration of their representation dated 08.05.2019, in terms of G.O.Ms.No.21, dated 03.10.2018. Learned Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that the petitioners are ineligible to be allotted rice under Custom Milling Rice scheme as there are cases pending against the petitioners-Mills.

Having regard to the respective submissions and as admittedly the petitioners had made a representation on 08.05.2019, the respondents are directed to consider the said representation on their eligibility, by disposing of the same, within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order and communicate a copy of the order to the petitioners. There shall be no order as to costs.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions pending in the Writ Petition, if any, shall stand closed.
