THE HON'BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE SRI KALYAN JYOTI SENGUPTA AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION NO.6165 OF 2015 ORDER: (per the Hon'ble The Chief Justice Sri Kalyan Jyoti Sengupta) At this stage, we do not incline to interfere with the action taken by the respondent - Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC). Merely a notice has been issued demanding payment of property tax wherein option was given to the petitioner to object to the same. It appears that objection has been raised. However, the same is yet to be decided.

We therefore close the writ petition directing the GHMC to hear the petitioner personally and pass a speaking order in accordance with law. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order. Till such decision is taken, no coercive steps shall be taken by the respondents against the petitioner.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. There will be no order as to costs.
