Sri Kommisetti Venkatarao, v. The State Of A.P.
HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE DILIP B. BHOSALE AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.922 of 2005 Dt:14.07.2016 Between:
Sri K.Venkatarao and others.
... Petitioners And The State of Andhra Pradesh and others.
... Respondents
HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE DILIP B. BHOSALE AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.922 of 2005 ORDER: (per the Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice Dilip B. Bhosale) Mr.G.Ramakrishna, learned counsel holding for Mr.I.Ramakrishna Rao, Advocate on record for the petitioners, submits that the petitioners are not in touch with him and he seeks adjournment to take instructions whether the petitioners are interested in prosecuting this petition further.
We have perused the prayer in the writ petition and noticed that the interim relief was refused in February, 2009. We have also noticed that the petitioners lost possession of the property on 19.01.2005. That seems to be the reason why the petitioners are not in touch with their counsel.
Hence, we dismiss the writ petition for non-prosecution with liberty to the petitioners to seek revival of the petition, if, according to them, it still survives.
Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, also stand disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. _________________________ DILIP B. BHOSALE, ACJ ________________________ P.NAVEEN RAO,J
