HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. SHANKAR NARAYANA CRIMINAL PETITION No.6907 OF 2015 ORDER :

No representation for the petitioner-accused No.1. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Telangana would submit that the Investigating Officer has filed the charge sheet on 31.01.2017, before the learned Judicial Magistrate of First Class (Excise), Nampally, and yet P.R.C. number is not assigned, and, therefore, the present petition becomes infructuous. In view of the aforesaid submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous at the admission stage itself.

The learned Judicial Magistrate of First Class (Excise), Nampally, is hereby directed to act according to law and assign P.R.C. number on the charge sheet filed by the Investigating Officer, within a period of seven days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this petition, shall stand closed.
