THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.10550 OF 2019 ORDER:

The petitioner challenges the proceedings in S.O.No.14 of 2019 - M2, dated 17.05.2019, wherein three individuals were promoted as Deputy Range Officers. The petitioner submits that though he is also entitled to be promoted and had made a detailed representation on 06.05.2019 stating as to how and in what circumstances he is also eligible to be promoted, the same was not considered and the three individuals being juniors were granted promotion on 17.05.2019, ignoring his claim.

Learned Government Pleader submits that the petitioner though challenges the order dated 17.05.2019, he failed to implead the three individuals as party - respondents. In as much as the petitioner representation dated 06.05.2019, whether the same was considered or not is not clear.

Having regard to the respective submissions and considering the fact that the reasons for not considering the petitioner's case not being discernable from any order, the interest of justice would be served if liberty is given to the petitioner to make a fresh representation to the third respondent with a further direction to the third respondent to consider and pass a reasoned order with respect to the claim of the petitioner and intimate the same to him.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of giving liberty to the petitioner to make a representation bringing forward his grievance to the third respondent, who shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders and communicate the same to him, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions pending in the Writ Petition, if any, shall stand closed.
