O R D E R

The case of the petitioner is that his father was working as Record Assistant in Bishop Solomon Junior College, Karimnagar and the said post is aided post and subsequently he was deployed to work at Government Junior College, Karimnagar. He died on 14.02.2016, while in service. Therefore, petitioner made application to the Principal, Government Junior College (G), Karimanagar - 4th respondent, seeking appointment on compassionate grounds. 4th respondent, in turn, vide letter Rc.No.B1/Estt.2016 dated 13.04.2016, forwarded the application of the petitioner to the Regional Joint director of Intermediate Education, Warangal - 3rd respondent. In turn, 3rd respondent vide letter dated in Rc.No.1342/A3/2016 dated 10.06.2016, submitted to the 2nd respondent - Commissioner of Intermediate Education. The 2nd respondent vide letter in Arc.No.

Adm/1/24222/2012 dated 04.07.2015, sought clarification from the Government with regard to ban on filling up of vacant aided posts. The grievance of the petitioner is that till date, his case for appointment on compassionate grounds, has not been considered, and as he lost his father and their family is facing financial difficulty, filed the present writ petition, for declaring the inaction of the respondents in considering his application on compassionate grounds, as illegal and arbitrary, and consequently direct the respondents to consider his case to any suitable post forthwith. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services.

Having regard to the above facts and circumstances, as the application of the petitioner for appointment on compassionate grounds is pending with the 2nd respondent and that it is stated that he sought clarification from the Government vide letter dated 04.07.2015, without expressing any opinion on merits, the writ

petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider the claim of the petitioner for appointment on compassionate grounds in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
