THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.SUNIL CHOWDARY CRIMINAL PETITION No.13344 of 2016 ORDER:

This petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to quash the proceedings against the petitioner/accused in Crime No.258 of 2016 on the file of the Station House Officer, Bowenpally Police Station, Hyderabad, registered for the offences under Sections 420 and 406 IPC.

At the time of hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner and the second respondent-de facto complainant have settled the matter before the Lok Adalat on 17.3.2017. In view of the submission made by the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, the purpose of filing of the criminal petition has become infructuous.

Hence, the criminal petition is dismissed as infructuous. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this criminal petition, shall stand closed.
