HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.8678 of 2015 ORDER:

This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed seeking the following relief: "declaring the action of the respondents No.1-4 in not taking any steps on the representations of the petitioner dt.19-12-2014, and 03-03-2015, for cancellation of the lease of agricultural lands to an extent of Ac.83-42 cts., in Sy.No. 10,11,18 and 19, Situated at Gopavaram Village, Proddatur mandal, YSR Cuddapah district, belonging to 5th respondent Choultry i.e.

Sri Narayana Rangaiahgari Choultry, Proddatur town, YSR Cuddapah district, granted through a G.O.Ms.No.1162, revenue (endowmentsII),Department, dt.03-10-2008, on long lease basis for a period of 33 years for the proposed construction of Veterinary College, at Proddutur town, YSR Cuddapah District, in favour of 6th respondent University, i.e., Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University, Tirupathi, and the consequential lease deed, dt.03-08-2009, executed by the executive officer of the 5th respondent Choultry, as illegal, arbitrary, unjust, consequently, to direct the respondents to pass appropriate orders on the representations of the petitioner for cancellation of the said lease granted through the Government Orders of the first respondent, through a G.O.Ms.No. 1162, revenue(endowments-II), Department, dated 03-10-2008, and the consequential lease deed, dated 03-08-2009, executed by the executive officer of the 5th respondent Choultry."

Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.

Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner seeking a direction to respondents 1 and 2 dispose of the representation, dated 03.03.2015, submitted by the petitioner.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submission of learned counsel for the petitioner and without going into the merits of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing respondents 1 and 2 to dispose of the representation, dated 03.03.2015, submitted by the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three (03) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
