The prayer is against alleged inaction in considering and disposing of the application of petitioners under the Andhra Pradesh Agricultural Land (Conversion for Non-Agricultural Purposes) Act, 2006.

The learned Government Pleader for Revenue (AP) submits that the 3rd respondent will consider and pass appropriate orders on the representation, if not already disposed of, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Having regard to the limited submissions of learned counsel appearing for the parties, we are satisfied the writ petition can be disposed of in the following terms:

"The 3rd respondent shall consider and dispose of the representation dated 20.03.2013 of petitioners within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already disposed of. The petitioners are given liberty to communicate a copy of this order along with a copy of representation dated 20.03.2013 for

expeditious and prompt decision by the 3rd respondent". The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, also stand disposed of.
