THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION Nos.5103 & 5104 of 2009 COMMON ORDER:

These two writ petitions are being disposed of by this common order as they were filed challenging the action of respondent No.2 in demanding the difference in royalty. The demand was necessitated due to audit objection and though the Government clarified the correct position to the audit, since the audit objection was pending, the demand continued. Today when these writ petitions are taken up for consideration, learned Government Pleader representing the Additional Advocate General submitted that pursuant to the clarification issued by the Government, audit objection was dropped; as a result of which, they will not pursue the demand pursuant to the impugned letters in these writ petitions. Recording the said submission, these Writ Petitions are closed. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in these Writ Petitions shall stand closed.
