Heard Sri G.Vidya Sagar, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner; the learned Government Pleader for respondents 1 to 4; and Sri B.Jitender, learned counsel for respondent No.5-de facto complainant.

This Writ Petition was filed challenging the action of respondents 1 to 4 in registering First Information Report No.207 of 2013 of Siddipet I Town Police Station for the offences punishable under Sections 295A and 298 IPC by respondent No.4. 3.

The said crime was registered pursuant to the complaint lodged by respondent No.5 in connection with the alleged comments made by the petitioner on 15.07.2013 at 5:00 P.M., purportedly hurting the religious feelings of devotees of Sri Shiridi Sai. 4.

This Court while admitting the writ petition on 16.04.2014 granted interim stay of all further proceedings including investigation, as a result of which no further steps were taken. 5.

Today learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner brought to the notice of this Court that in respect of the same incident, when a complaint was made with the Station House Officer, Nirmal Police Station, Adilabad, by another complainant, the same was registered as First Information Report No.265 of 2013,

ARLR,J WP_11693_2014 and challenging the same, the petitioner filed Writ Petition No.25296 of 2013 and this Court by a reasoned order quashed the said First Information Report on 09.05.2014. He further submitted that a copy of the said order was circulated to the learned Government Pleader as well as the de facto complainant in this case. The application of the said order to the facts of the present case is not disputed by the learned Government Pleader as well as by respondent No.5.

In the circumstances, in view of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.25296 of 2013, which arose out of the same incident, this complaint registered as First Information Report No.207 of 2013 by respondent No.4 is also quashed and the writ petition is accordingly allowed.
