ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short 'BNSS') by the petitioner/accused seeking to extend the time for surrendering before the Trial Court and furnishing securities as directed by the learned I Additional District and Sessions Judge at Nalgonda in Crl.M.P.No.133 of 2026 vide order dated 17.03.2026 in Crime No.32 of 2026 of Nalgonda I-Town Police Station. 2.

Heard Sri K. Rama Subba Rao, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner as well as Sri E. Ganesh, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent - State.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the trial Court while allowing the Crl.M.P.No.133 of 2026 in Crime No.32 of 2026 directed the petitioner to comply the conditions passed therein. Learned counsel further submitted that condition No.v i.e., the petitioner/accused shall surrender before the trial Court within ten days from the date of this order and shall appear before the SHO, P.S. Nalgonda-I Town on every Saturday and Sunday between 10:00 am to 5:00 pm till filing of the charge sheet and shall co-operate with the investigating agency to proceed with the investigation subject to following conditions. He further submitted that the petitioner did not receive the order copy and prayed the Court to extend the time.

Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court is inclined to extend the time for surrendering before the Trial Court and furnishing securities as directed by the learned I Additional District and Sessions Judge at Nalgonda in Crl.M.P.No.133 of 2026 vide order dated 17.03.2026 in Crime No.32 of 2026 of Nalgonda I-Town Police Station on or before 15.04.2026.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is allowed. Miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall also stand closed.
