Heard.

The petitioner is aggrieved by inaction of the 3rd respondent in considering her application, dated 04-12-2013 for incorporation of her name in the revenue records relating to the land admeasuring Ac.3-00 cts., in Sy.Nos.32 and 40 situated at Bakkannapalem Village, Visakapatnam Rural, Mandal and District.

I am unable to appreciate as to how the 3rd respondent is concerned with regard to correction of entries in the revenue records. The petitioner could have approached the competent authority i.e., Mandal Revenue Officer concerned, who is empowered to take up amendment of the revenue record in terms of A.P.Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971. Hence, I am not inclined to entertain the writ petition. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to make an appropriate application before the 5th respondent and if any such application is made, the 5th respondent shall examine the same in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders expeditiously. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
