THE HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN AND THE HON'BLE DR JUSTICE SHAMEEM AKTHER Writ Appeal No.960 of 2013 JUDGMENT: {Per the Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan} This appeal is preferred against the order passed by the Learned Single Judge in W.P.No.27825 of 2012 dated 06.02.2013 allowing the writ petition in terms of the judgment in W.P.No.330526 of 2012 and batch dated 31.12.2012. The relief sought for in the writ petition was two fold viz., (i) to release the two sale deeds dated 28.06.2008 which were kept pending registration; and (ii) to mutate the name of the appellant-writ petitioner in the revenue records.

In so far as the first relief is concerned, Sri B.Nalin Kumar, learned for the appellant-writ petitioner, would submit that the appellant-writ petitioner does not press for the said relief, as the documents have already been released. In so far as the second relief is concerned, learned counsel would submit that it would suffice if this Court were to direct the respondents to consider the appellant-writ petitioner's request for mutation of her name in the revenue records within a specified time frame. Learned Government Pleader for Revenue would submit that, in case the appellant-writ petitioner submits an application in the form prescribed under the Andhra Pradesh Rights in land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 (for short "the Act'), the respondents would consider the same and pass orders in accordance with law.

We consider it appropriate, in such circumstances, to permit the appellant-writ petitioner to submit an application in Form 6-A

of the Act. In case such an application is submitted, the respondents shall consider and pass orders thereupon at the earliest, and in any event not later than three months from the date of receipt of the application in the prescribed form. The Writ Appeal is disposed of accordingly. Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall also stand disposed. There shall be no order as to costs.
