This writ petition is filed seeking writ of mandamus directing the respondents to permit the petitioner to rejoin into service by considering his age of superannuation from 60 to 62 years retrospectively in view of the orders of the Hon'ble Apex Court by holding the resolution of General Body Meeting dated 30.06.2017 as illegal and arbitrary. It is the case of the petitioner that he rendered services in the respondent bank and retired from services on 30.11.2015 and after he came to know about the guidelines of the Government about the enhancement of superannuation of age from 60 to 62 years for the sub-staff employees, he made representation to the respondent on 17.08.2017 requesting to consider his service for enhancement age of superannuation from 60 to 62 years as per resolution of the 4th respondent vide reference HRD.A/Superannuation dated 23.06.2017. As no orders are passed on the representation of the petitioner dated 17.08.2017, present writ petition is filed.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri V.Kishore Kumar, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents 4 and 5.

Since the representation of the petitioner dated 17.08.2017 is stated to be pending before the 4th respondent, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the 4th respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass orders, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand disposed of.
