HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 16249 OF 2003 ORDER :

When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is submitted by the counsel for the petitioners that the petitioners have filed this Writ Petition seeking regularization of their services.

2.

This Hon'ble Court was pleased to grant interim orders on 5.8.2003 as under:

"If the petitioners are in service as on today, they shall be continued until further orders."

3.

The Counsel for the petitioners submits that by virtue of interim orders, the petitioners are being continued in service. The only issue remains is that whether the petitioners are entitled for regularization of their services or not. 4.

The Standing Counsel for the respondents contends that the cases of the petitioners will be considered as and when regular vacancies will arise, in accordance with their seniority.

5.

Having considered the submissions made by the parties, this Court is of the considered view that this Writ Petition can be disposed of, directing the petitioners to make a fresh representation for their regularization within one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and upon such representation being received, the respondents shall consider and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks thereafter.

6.

With this observation, Writ Petition is disposed of. 7.

The Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. _______________________________ ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI, J 20th November, 2018 GS
