THE HONOURABLE Dr.JUSTICE B.SIVA SANKARA RAO Crl.P.M.P.Nos.8304 and 8305 of 2017 in/and Criminal Petition No.7856 of 2017 ORDER :

Both the defacto-complainant and the petitioners/ A.1 to A.16 in Cr.No.17 of 2016 of Rompicherla Police Station, Guntur district, registered for the offences punishable u/ sec.323,324 and 506 r/ w 34 IPC and Sec.3(1)(x) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities)Act(for short, 'the Act') on the report of the 1st respondent, present before this Court and stated that they have settled the dispute between them amicably and they sought permission vide Crl.P.M.P.Nos.8304 and 8305 of 2017 to compound the offences by recording the compromise and therefrom quash the proceedings against the petitioners. Heard both the parties and also the learned Public Prosecutor for the 2nd respondent-state and perused the record. In view of the compromise between the parties, they are permitted to compound the offences.

In the result, the Crl.P.M.P.Nos.8304 and 8305 of 2017 are allowed. Consequently, the Criminal Petition is also allowed quashing the proceedings in Cr.No.17 of 2016 of Rompicherla Police Station, Guntur district, against the petitioners/ A.1 to A.16 and they are acquitted.
