This writ petition is filed for a mandamus to declare the action of respondent No.3 in granting permission to respondent No.6 for running a rice mill as illegal and arbitrary.

At the hearing, Mr. G. Krishna Murthy, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication.
