M.V. Ramana, And 8 Others v. The M.D., Apsrtc, Tirupathi Region, And 2 Others.
HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 21790 OF 2004 ORDER :
When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are seeking Pilgrim Compensatory Allowance to the petitioners in terms of G.O.Ms.No.1382, dated 3.8.1984 and G.O.Ms.No.62 Rev. Endts.I Dept., dated 12.01.1990. The grievance of the petitioners is that they were working with the respondents at Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam Transport and the State Government has issued orders to grant Pilgrim Compensatory Allowance to the petitioners. But the respondents are not granting the said Pilgrim Compensatory Allowance to the petitioners. Challenging the same, the present writ petition is filed.
This Court, having considered the submissions made by both the parties, is of the considered view that this writ petition can be disposed of directing the petitioners to make a representation to the respondents within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and upon such representation being received, the respondents shall consider and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.
With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. The Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. _______________________________ ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI, J 17th December, 2018 GS*
