THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 15527 OF 2017 O R D E R :

The 2nd respondent District Panchayat Officer, through the proceedings, dated 01.12.2016, had withdrawn the chequedrawing power of the petitioner, who is the Sarpanch of Motupalli Gram Panchayat, Chinaganjam Mandal, Prakasam District, for a period of 90 days. The petitioner challenged the said proceedings, in this Writ Petition.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj (Andhra Pradesh), on specific instructions from the respondents, submits that as a matter of fact, the cheque-drawing power of the petitioner has been restored.

Recording the said submission, since the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall stand closed.
