HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No. 6410 of 2013 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, the petitioners/A1 and A2 seek to quash the proceedings in Crime No.345 of 2011 of Golconda Police Station, Hyderabad District, which was registered for the offences under Sections 498-A, 323 IPC and Sections 4 and 6 of D.P. Act.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 11.6.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Golconda Police Station, Hyderabad District as well as a copy of the Judgment in CC No.85 of 2012 and submitted that the case was ended in acquittal on 4.4.2016 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.345 of 2011 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
