Heard.

The petitioner seeks permission to dig a bore well in his land admeasuring Ac.4-00 cents in Sy.No.46 situated at Kondapur Shivaru, Regundi Village, Peddammul Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, under the jurisdiction of the 4th respondent.

The petitioner states that since digging of bore well is imminent, he made a representation to the 3rd respondent on 17-07-2015. However, no action is being taken by the 3rd respondent. The petitioner states that his application for grant of permission under the WALTA Act is liable to be considered by the 3rd respondent expeditiously. Heard the learned Government Pleader for Revenue. Keeping in view the petitioner's only request for consideration of his application referred to above for permission to dig a bore well, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 4th respondent to consider the aforesaid application in accordance with the provisions of WALTA Act and pass appropriate orders within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
