Counsel for the petitioner: None appeared Counsel for the respondents: None appeared The Court made the following:

Order:

This Writ Petition is filed for a Mandamus to declare the action of respondent Nos.1 and 2, in allotting sub-station contract works to respondent Nos.3 and 4 vide letter No.CE/KDP Z/ KDP/ ADE-T3/ AE-T5/ F.O&M/ D.No.1713/12, dated 29-06-2012, as illegal and arbitrary.

At the hearing, there is no representation for the parties. I have perused the record.

In the impugned proceeding, respondent No.1 has awarded the works relating to providing of assistance to Survey Investigation in the Sub-divisions of Kadapa and Kurnool, with two numbers highly skilled Diploma (Civil/Electrical) and two numbers skilled I.T.I. (Civil Draughtsman/Electrician), on works contract basis in favour of respondent Nos.3 and 4 respectively for the period from 01-062012 to 31-03-2013. A perusal of the proceeding sheet shows that no interim order was granted. As the period of contract awarded to respondent Nos.3 and 4 has expired on 31-03-2013, the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive for adjudication.

The Writ Petition is, therefore, dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel to dismissal of the Writ Petition, WPMP.No.27990 of 2012, filed by the petitioner for interim relief, is disposed of as infructuous.
