Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the Criminal Petition.

Permission is accorded.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. However, the Police of Malkapuram Law and Order Police Station, Visakhapatnam, shall follow the procedure contemplated under Section 41-A Cr.P.C., as far as the petitioner/accused is concerned.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
