The petitioner complains inaction in investigating Cr.No.708 of 2012 of L.B.Nagar L & O Police Station. The Assistant Government Pleader submits that crime was originally registered at L.B.Nagar L & O Police Station and later on steps were taken to transfer CD file in Cr.No.708 of 2012 to Alwal Police Station. Neither the petitioner nor the respondents is in a position to inform the present stage of investigation. This is one of the oldest writ petitions. Therefore, the SHO, Alwal Police Station, if the CD file is transferred and charge sheet is not filed, investigates the crime and completes the investigation in three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If a charge sheet is already filed, no further investigation is directed by this order.

The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
