This Criminal Petition is filed seeking quashment of S.C.No.119 of 2017 in FIR No.43 of 2016 on the file of Judicial First Class Magistrate at Sulthanabad registered against petitioner/Accused for the offence under Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code.

Sri K.Mallikarjun, learned counsel for respondent Nos.2 is present.

Sri T.V.Ramana Rao, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondent No.1/State has submitted that the case before the trial Court was ended in acquittal on 20.04.2022 and to that extent copy of the proceedings sheet downloaded from e-Courts is filed.

In view of the facts and circumstances and since the main case has already been disposed of by the trial Court, no cause of action survives to proceed with the case and thereby
the Criminal Petition has become infructuous and liable to be dismissed.

Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
As a sequel, pending Miscellaneous Applications, if any, shall stand closed.
