None appears for the petitioner.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is noticed that the petitioner had attained the age of superannuation. In this writ petition, the petitioner is challenging the order, dated 08.06.2001, in I.T.I.D (C) No.18/99, passed by the Industrial Tribunal-cumLabour Court, Visakhapatnam, wherein no relief was granted to the petitioner.

Since the petitioner has retired from service, at this point of time, the relief sought for by him to reinstate him into service cannot be granted. Therefore, there is no merit in the writ petition and the same is liable to be dismissed.

Accordingly, Writ Petition is dismissed. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
