ORDER:

This writ petition is filed alleging that respondents 2 to 4 are neither registering a case nor taking up investigation with regard to the incident of attempting to kill petitioner's minor daughter by pouring kerosene.

2. The aforesaid incident is already subject matter of FIR.No.213 of 2015, as per the instructions of the learned Assistant Government Pleader. Apart from that there is another Cr.No.214 of 2014 registered with Anakapalli Rural Police Station with respect to the same incident. The instructions further

show that the statement of the victim was, accordingly, recorded as L.W.4 and as per her statement, four persons were found involved and were added as accused Nos.12, 13, 14 and 15 in FIR.No.214 of 2014. It is, further, stated that subsequently on 27.10.2014, the Inspector of Police, Special Branch, Visakhapatnam, has taken up investigation as per the instructions of the Superintendent of Police, Visakhapatnam and both the crimes were investigated and except the petitioner in WP.No.5192 of 2015 all other accused were arrested. Investigation is stated to be at the stage of completion.

3. In view of the above, let the investigation go on and the concerned Investigating Officer shall file an appropriate report before the jurisdictional Court expeditiously.

The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
