O R D E R

This writ petition was filed assailing the action of the Station House Officer, Gangavaram (Agency) Police Station, East Godavari District, in interfering with the

civil disputes relating to the petitioner's land admeasuring Ac.1.85 cents in Sy.No.209/2 and Ac.3.50 cents in Sy.No.209/5 of Nellipudi Village, Gangavaram Mandal, East Godavari District, at the instance of the respondents 3 and 4. The Sub-Inspector of Police, Addateegala Police Station-cum-Incharge of Gangavaram Police Station, East Godavari District, filed a counter-affidavit denying that, at the instance of respondents 3 and 4 in the writ petition, the police authorities interfered with the possession and enjoyment of the petitioner over the subject land. He categorically stated that the police authorities did not interfere with the agricultural operations of the petitioner and that no case whatsoever was registered on the file of the Gangavaram Police Station against the petitioner. He further stated that the dispute, if any, between the petitioner and the private respondent was predominantly civil in nature and that the police authorities had nothing to do with the same.

In the light of the clear stand taken by the police authorities, as is evident from the counter, this Court is of the opinion that no orders are required to be passed. The writ petition is accordingly closed taking on record the stand put forth by the police authorities as aforestated. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. No order to costs.
