THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.6629 of 2011 ORDER:

Heard Mr.Tuhin Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.K.Ramakanth Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.

The petitioner herein made an application to the National Council for Teacher Education (for short 'the NCTE') for grant of recognition to B.Ed. Course. The said application was rejected by respondent No.2 vide order No.F.SRO/NCTE/NEW/AP/26536, dated 28.01.2011. Calling in question the validity and legal sustainability of the said order passed by respondent No.2, the present writ petition came to be filed.

Mr.K.Ramakanth Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents, submits that the application of the petitioner was duly considered and the same was rejected by virtue of the impugned order, dated 28.01.2011, passed by respondent No.2. Evidently, the application of the petitioner was rejected long back and now, it is not possible for reviving the said application, which was considered and rejected by the NCTE, in view of the advent of NCTE Regulations, 2014. Since new Regulations came

into existence, the petitioner herein cannot seek consideration of its application submitted under the old Regulations. In view of the same, the writ petition is disposed of permitting the petitioner to make appropriate application in terms of new NCTE Regulations, 2014 and if any such application is made by the petitioner, the same shall be considered and appropriate orders be passed by the respondents in accordance with law. Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending in this writ petition shall stand disposed of. No order as to costs. _________________ A.V.SESHA SAI, J Dt: 29.11.2016.
