Order : (Per Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy)

This Writ Petition is filed for the following substantive relief:

"to issue a writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF CERTIORARI, calling for the records pertaining to the orders dated 18.03.2008 in O.A.No.540/2007 on the file of Hon'ble Central Administrative Tribunal, Hyderabad Bench, in rejecting the claim of the petitioner for correction of his date of birth as 06.02.1949 as per his HSC Certificate instead of 04.06.1946 in the office records is illegal, arbitrary and against the settled principles of law and consequently quash and set aside the same and declare that the petitioner is entitled for correction of his date of birth as 06.02.1949 as per his HSC Certificate instead of 04.06.1946."

Mr.M.Venkanna, learned Counsel for the petitioner, addressed letter, dated 05-04-2016, to the Registrar (Judicial) wherein it is stated that as the petitioner has already retired from service, he seeks to withdraw the Writ Petition.

Today, at the hearing, Mr.P.Varaprasad Rao, learned Counsel representing Mr.M.Venkanna, learned Counsel for the petitioner, reiterated the said request.

In view of the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.

As a sequel to dismissal of the Writ Petition, WPMP.No.19430 of 2011, filed by the petitioner for interim relief, is disposed of as infructuous.
