Petitioner claims that her husband was granted Tea Stall. After demise of her husband, petitioner and her family members eking out their livelihood by running the Tea Stall. Since lease was expiring in December, 2016, application was submitted in-advance on 09.11.2015 praying to grant renewal of lease as well as change of name in the records. So far no orders are passed. Hence, this writ petition.

Since petitioner claimed that application submitted on 09.11.2015 is yet to be acted upon, the writ petition is disposed of, without expressing any opinion on merits, directing the competent authority to consider the said application, if the same is not already considered, and pass orders and communicate the decision on the request made by the petitioner in the said application, by a reasoned order, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
