Heard.

With the consent of both parties, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

The present writ petition came to be filed seeking to declare the action of the respondents in not considering the representation of the petitioner dated 01.04.2017 and to take further steps to provide compensation and employment to the petitioner's family in pursuance to the consequential proceedings vide R.C.No.479/ 2016, dated 26.07.2017, issued by the 9th respondent, as illegal and arbitrary.

Though various grounds are raised, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner, at the earliest.

Learned Government Pleader does not dispute the same. In view of the above submissions, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent - authorities to deal with the representation dated 01.04.2017, made by the petitioner, seeking payment of compensation, in accordance with law, as early as possible, preferably within a period of four to six weeks from the

date of receipt of a copy of the order. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, Miscellaneous Petitions pending if any in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
